Join us for Part 2 of the Retail Tales talk, a fascinating journey through Congleton’s rich retail history! In this engaging talk, local historian Ian Doughty will delve into the histories of Lawton Street, Mill Street, and the local Co-operative Society, shedding light on how these areas shaped the town’s commercial past. This talk will also include an exciting introduction to the Old Mill, offering new insights into its legacy within the community.
The event will be held in the Bridestones Suite at Congleton Town Hall (please note: this is not at the museum). Tickets are priced at £7, which includes hot drinks and biscuits to enjoy during the talk.
