Learn: Crochet

Tuesday 18th July now SOLD OUT. Tickets still available for Thursday 24th August.

Join us for an exciting beginner’s crochet workshop where you can learn the art of crocheting to eventually create your own unique projects. This workshop is perfect for anyone who is interested in learning a new skill and craft.

Your instructor will be Anna, the museum’s Assistant Manager, who has been crocheting for 10 years. Anna will teach you the basic crochet techniques, including how to hold the crochet hook, create different stitches, and read crochet patterns. She will provide step-by-step instructions and offer personalised assistance to ensure that every participant feels confident and comfortable with the process. Don’t worry if it takes a while to get the hang of it.

All necessary materials will be provided, including crochet hooks and yarn. However, if you have your own crochet supplies, feel free to bring them along.

Come and join us at Congleton Museum’s Beginner’s Crochet Workshop to discover the joy of crocheting, unleash your creativity, and connect with fellow craft enthusiasts. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill and meet new people.
