The Centurion’s Curse

The Museum's First Ever Escape Room!

Many years ago, under a blood-red moon, Dr. John Blackwood, a daring archaeologist, discovered a cursed Roman ring near Rome, only to meet a tragic and inexplicable end after bringing it back to Congleton Museum. Now, with Halloween’s eerie shadows closing in, you must navigate the haunted halls, solve the cryptic clues left by his grieving wife and daughter, and find the cursed ring before the spirits of the past claim another soul.

Tickets to Congleton Museum’s escape room The Centurion’s Curse cost £10 for a group of up to 8 people. This includes adults and children.

The escape room has been designed so that participants of all ages can enjoy it, including families, couples and friends.

Important Information: The museum will remain as it is, there will be no flashing lights or super dark places. However there will be a series of clues in different formats and there will be a skeleton which may frighten some children. Adult supervision is necessary at all times. Young children may need adult help to decipher clues. Please respect the exhibits around you, and be courteous to other visitors who are not participating in the escape room.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to make your slot, please contact the museum by emailing info@congletonmuseum.co.uk.

Tickets are for a specific time slot only, this is because other groups may be participating either before or after you. All the clues need to be re-set so that the mystery is the same for each group. Therefore if you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be turned away. Timed slots are every hour.
