27-29 October | Half Term at Congleton Museum
Ever wondered how Bossons’ famous decorative pieces were made? This half term, bring the family to Congleton Museum and have a go yourself!
Inspired by our new Bossons at 80 exhibition, children can explore the creative process behind these famous Congleton-made pieces, from the first design to moulding and painting.

1. BE A DESIGNER!
Create your own decorative plate design using a selection of shapes and patterns. Take inspiration from original Bossons pieces or let your imagination run wild!

Get hands-on with moulds, plaster and clay. Discover how Bossons craftspeople turned designs into three-dimensional objects.
3. BE A PAINTRESS!
Pick up a brush and bring a prepared piece to life with colour. Take your painted creation home as a souvenir!
