Description
While serving in the Army during the 1939-45 war, George Sandbach wrote many letters home to his mother, Ada Sandbach, of which some one hundred and fifty have survived. It is from these letters, brief notes, and correspondence from his friends to George’s mother, that an attempt has been made to put together something of George’s life while serving at home and abroad. |
