Description

In 1980 Colin Jones invited a group of Congleton residents to write about what they remembered of Congleton fifty years age (1930).  This booklet includes Albert Saywell’s thoughts on  ‘Changes in Education’ , A Wood talking about ‘ My School Days’, Edwin Cross’s ‘Country Cottage Memories’, ‘Recollections’ by L Hulme, ‘Public Health and Housing’ by Julie Thornhill and ‘How it Was’ at work by John Campbell.
