Discover the Beauty of Congleton

We want to bring together the amazing places and things you have found and discovered in Congleton

Join the ‘Beauty of Congleton’ Padlet activity, a delightful part of the Town Expeditions event happening during the summer holidays! This interactive online platform allows families to share photos, drawings, stories and comments that capture the charm and beauty of Congleton. Explore contributions from others and add your own to celebrate our town’s unique character. Enjoy connecting with the community and discovering Congleton’s beauty through everyone’s eyes!

Please remember to keep personal information safe and avoid uploading your address, photographs of yourself at an identifiable location such as your workplace, or full personal details. Any information that we deem to be inappropriate will be removed and reported.

How it works?

  1. Find a place or element of Congleton that you like. Anything can be beautiful – a leaf on a tree in an unusual light, an architectural element of a house, a sunset or yourself enjoying one of the museum’s activities. It is your vision, your choice, your Congleton.
  2. Take a picture of it if you are able.
  3. Place it on the map on this page. It is easy:
    • Click the “+” icon on the Padlet to create a new post.
    • Choose a place. To mark a location, perform a search and select a location. Or drag the marker to the desired point on the map.
    • Upload an image, add the name of the photo and comment on why you like it.
  4. If you want to personalise your photo, you can go to the Padlet map page, login there, and your photo will appear on this page with your name.
  5. What will happen as a result? We will collect all the photos and comments showing the Beauty of Congleton in one place.
