Research Room

The museum has an extensive collection of books on the history of Congleton, the surrounding villages, Cheshire and North Staffordshire which are available for personal and group research. These are located in the Research Room upstairs in the museum. The museum also offers Bespoke Research which is conducted in this room. 

This room can also be used for private study or as a quiet space. There is a desk which seats up to four people, plus an additional desk with a computer which can be used by the public for research purposes. Please see our printing services should you need to print any of your research or copy pages from books.
