This walk will explore the medieval pathways once used by priests to travel from Astbury to Congleton to take mass in the Higher Chapel of St Peter. Depending on the weather waterproof footwear may be required.

The 7th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment were a local territorial unit, containing men from Congleton. They landed in August 1915, this talk is the story of their time in Gallipoli. Followed by a private view of the museums temporary First World War exhibition.
